Carrollton, TX, August 6, 2020—Project Management Training Alliance (PMTA) launches
operations.
As project management and agile approaches continue to be a key indicator of
organizational success, the Project Management Training Alliance (PMTA) is created to
help evolve the project management training industry.
The Project Management Training Alliance (PMTA) is a non-profit, membership-based
organization, composed of trainers, consultants, publishers, and other project
management service providers which work together to align their skills and knowledge
to deliver quality products and services in the field of project management.
Per PMTA President, Tony Johnson, “In coming together as an organization, the project
management training industry has a global reach with a variety of services and types of
offerings depending on the market, format, audience and price points. What we wanted
to do in creating PMTA was to be an independent group that could establish world class,
industry setting standards that we can hold our membership to in how they run their
businesses, create courseware, deliver courses and provide coaching and consulting
services.”
PMTA core values include cooperation, transparency, trust and integrity. The mission
statement is “To be an organization that is an independent source of reliable and
effective project management services.”
Tony Johnson also stated that “one of our first membership features is a weekly global
call for membership to sync up on best practices, market intelligence, and trends. As the
pandemic of 2020 has impacted many industries, training has been hit disproportionally
hard. As a result of sharing intelligence on our weekly calls, some members were able to
navigate hurdles and get PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) grants and EIDL (Economic
Impact Disaster Loans) to help transition through these challenging times further
reinforcing my vision of we all can cooperate and win.”
