This course is designed specifically for individuals new to the world of Six Sigma. Whether you have a small role, a budding interest, or a need to develop foundational knowledge, this course is tailored just for you.The White Belt preparation course will introduce you to the basic concepts and potential of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies. Throughout the course, you will participate in group activities that encourage collaboration and the practical application of learned concepts. By the end of the course, you will be equipped with the awareness to contribute to process improvement initiatives within your organization.
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon the completion of the course, participants will obtain subject matter awareness of:
- Organizational Change Management
- Total Quality Management (TQM)
- Lean Foundations and Principles
- The Theory of Constraint (ToC)
- The purpose of Lean (waste elimination) and its methodologies (just-in-time, poka-yoke, kanban, value stream mapping)
- The purpose of Six Sigma, its methodology (DMAIC)
- The value of Six Sigma to the organization as a whole.
